Five days is enough to begin a conversation with Kosovo. Think of this itinerary as a starting point, with space to make it your own.
Day 1 — Find your feet in Prishtina
Start gently. Walk through the centre, make time for coffee and get a feel for the capital. If you arrive late, keep the day simple and move the sightseeing to the following morning.
Days 2 & 3 — Make yourself at home in Prizren
Use Prizren as your base for two nights. Walk the old town, head up to the fortress and spend time by the river. A second day gives you room for local food, cultural stops or a quieter side trip.
Day 4 — Head west to Peja
Move towards Peja and settle in before exploring. This is your transition from cities into the mountains. Check your transport and accommodation arrangements before building the day around a specific walk.
Day 5 — Leave room for Rugova
Spend time in the valley or choose a suitable guided walk. If you need to return for a flight, consider adding a night or adjusting the order. The best route depends on your arrival point, transport and season.
