Less itinerary. More serendipity.

A field note from Enjoy Kosovo

A local perspective on Kosovo

Some of the best parts of a journey never make it onto the itinerary. The trick is leaving enough space for them to happen.

Stay a little longer

Choose fewer bases and give each one more time. A second morning in the same neighbourhood often reveals more than another rushed arrival somewhere new.

Make the local connection

Stay in a small guesthouse, talk to your host and ask about the places they enjoy. A recommendation is more useful when someone understands what you are looking for.

Leave an afternoon empty

An open afternoon is not wasted time. It is room for a longer lunch, a side street or a conversation. Make a plan that supports the experience, then let yourself change it.
